We are proud to mark an important milestone in the evolution of CODAS.

Monk’s Fuels, an independent fuel distributor based in the West Midlands, is now live on CODAS 7 as their primary operational platform, running the system end to end across their business.

While some distributors are already using CODAS 7 within their wider environments, Monk’s Fuels is the first operating fully on CODAS 7 as their day-to-day platform.

That distinction matters.

This is the first live deployment of CODAS 7 supporting a fuel distribution business from order through to delivery and invoicing as the core user experience.

Reaching this point has taken years of development, careful planning, and significant investment. CODAS 7 has been designed to retain the depth and industry intelligence CODAS is known for, while delivering a modern, browser-based experience built for today’s fuel distributor.

This was never about releasing something quickly. It was about building the next stage of CODAS properly.

Monk’s Fuels operates with two office users and five delivery trucks. They are a growing, relationship-driven. independent business, focused on operational discipline and customer service.

Their move to CODAS 7 was a forward-looking decision made as the business continues to grow. As order volumes increase and operations scale, systems must provide clarity and control across the whole operation.

CODAS 7 now supports their daily workflows, including order processing, delivery management, stock control and invoicing.

Fuel distribution carries its own operational realities. Variable drop sizes, dynamic pricing, seasonal demand, credit management and fleet visibility all add complexity. CODAS 7 has been built around these workflows, not adapted from another industry.

This deployment validates the architecture in a live downstream fuel distribution environment. The system is stable. The workflows are proven. The platform performs under real operational conditions.

For the CDS team, seeing CODAS 7 running end to end in a live distributor is a proud moment. It reflects the hard work of our product, development and implementation teams who have refined and strengthened the platform over time.
